Tyler Grant

Tyler Grant currently serves as the Assistant Director of Career Development at the University of Notre Dame, where he oversees career programs for Global Affairs, Architecture, and international students. He holds a BA in International Studies from Bethel University, Indiana and an MA in Global Development and Justice from Multnomah University, Oregon. A Mishawaka native, Tyler has worked in a variety of capacities for US and international organizations focused on education, justice, and community development, including the Youth Service Bureau where he worked in crisis intervention, the Red Cross where he worked in disaster cycle management and served as a Public Information Officer and Government Liaison, and Bethel University where he oversaw experiential learning as director of the Service Learning Office, the Global Engagement Office, and the Career Development Office. He is passionate about building community and loves working with people from all over the world.

What does being a "career champion" mean to you?
I'm always looking to connect the dots . . . between people, ideas, needs, and more. To me, being a career champion is about helping people understand their options and how to move forward. I love taking the abstract dreaming and brainstorming and break it down into action steps. I'm passionate about helping kind, hard working people spend more time on the things they love and less time on the things they don't.
