As Coordinator, Strategic Projects in the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development, I support undergraduate students and fellow career advisors in liaison with the Transformational Leaders Program and Office of Student Enrichment to explore, discern, and identify career paths and opportunities that align with each student’s unique goals, values, skills, and experience.
In this role, I assist undergraduate students with developing personalized job and internship search strategies, post baccalaureate career paths and graduate education, and in building meaningful professional networks and relationships.
What does being a "career champion" mean to you?
Providing welcoming, hope-filled support, and empowering students with the resources and guidance they need to thrive personally and professionally is where my passion lies and what drives me in my work alongside students as they plan their future careers and paths forward. For me, being a career champion means walking alongside students, working together to find career-bridging opportunities, and celebrating and amplifying every experience and skill gained along the way to career success. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from students in discovering their hopes and goals, and mindful of each student’s unique discerning process as they navigate meaningful opportunities in their career decision-making journeys. My goal as a career champion is to help students grow with confidence at Notre Dame and beyond, making a positive impact for the greater good every day.
