Katie Oswald

I teach Spanish language, literature, and culture and serve as the faculty advisor for the Spanish major and supplemental major. I have also taught numerous classes and served as an academic advisor with the Moreau College Initiative, which is run through Holy Cross College and housed in the Westville Correctional Facility. My area of expertise is the transmission of the medieval Spanish epic, but I enjoy teaching classes at all levels and playing a small role as students make connections between their primary areas of study and Spanish language and cultures.

What does being a "career champion" mean to you?
I am one of many resources for students as they discern their professional path and its connections to their academic trajectory. Sometimes I will be able to offer direct guidance, while other times I will guide them to those whose expertise can better serve them.
