Erik Oswald

Erik Oswald has been with the Center for Career Development since 2015, building on his nearly 20 years of experience overall in career development. He graduated from Notre Dame in 2004 with studies in Environmental Science and Anthropology, and he holds a master’s degree in college student affairs leadership from Grand Valley State University where he also served as a Graduate Assistant in the Counseling and Career Development Center. Before joining Notre Dame, he worked with the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) where he provided career advising to students and alumni primarily in engineering and business. Upon returning to ND in 2015, Erik worked with the College of Arts and Letters graduate students for nearly three years before transitioning to the Professional Master Programs. Throughout all of these roles, Erik’s focus has been on building and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff, faculty, and administrators at the program, department, college, and university levels. He is continuing to expand on these relationships through his current role of Associate Director for Strategic Partnerships. Erik is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), and past president of the Wisconsin Private Colleges Career Consortium.
